About The Orchards Golf Club
The Orchards Golf Club anchors a 525-acre residential and golf community in Washington, Michigan. The eighteen-hole public course was designed by architect Robert Trent Jones Jr., who drew on the classic look and playing style of 1920s private clubs and aimed to build a challenging course open to all golfers. Each hole allows several different approaches, rewarding players who think their way around.

The practice complex is extensive. A 27,000-square-foot practice green combines pitching, putting and bunker work, while the 400-yard range includes split-level tees of 12,000 square feet at the north end for general practice and a separate 8,500-square-foot tee at the south end reserved for instruction. Lessons are available from the club's professional staff, and range balls are sold by the bag in the pro shop.
