Tecumseh Golf Club
About Tecumseh Golf Club
Tecumseh Golf Club traces its origins to 1948, when it opened as Tecumseh Country Club and became a gathering place for area business people and their families, who came for golf, meals and company. The course was designed by architect Leo Bishop, who laid it out as a retreat for local businessmen.
After the club struggled during the recession, it was purchased by the Hantz Group in 2011, and later sold to Tim Simpson, who renamed it Tecumseh Golf Club.
Set in a quiet, scenic corner of Tecumseh, Michigan, the club operates as a private facility with a championship-length layout and a relaxed, informal atmosphere that has carried through since its founding.
