Oceana Golf Club
About Oceana Golf Club
Oceana Golf Club has served golfers in western Michigan for more than six decades, with roots in the Shelby and Hart communities. With no course nearby at the time, local golf enthusiasts banded together to plan and build Oceana County's first course, and volunteers from cherry farmers to businessmen contributed their time, skills, and equipment to the project. The course opened for play in 1962.
Since then, the club has made ongoing improvements to course management, playing conditions, and its facilities, while maintaining the legacy of the founding members who created it.
