About Hidden Oaks Golf Course
Hidden Oaks Golf Course occupies 265 acres of wooded terrain and natural wetlands in Central Michigan, with a layout routed among mature oaks that gives the course its name. The design works for a range of skill levels.
The course began as Edgewood Hills Golf Course, a nine-hole public layout designed by Bruce Matthews Sr. and his son Jerry Matthews, which opened in 1970. Jerry Matthews returned in 1999 to design a second nine, expanding the course to 18 holes, at which point it was renamed Hidden Oaks.
