Thoroughbred Golf Club
About Thoroughbred Golf Club
The Thoroughbred Golf Club opened in 1993 to a design by Arthur Hills, routed through rolling Michigan woodlands, wetlands and lakes.
The 18-hole layout plays from four sets of tees, making it manageable for newer and mid-handicap players while the back tees carry a 147 slope rating for stronger golfers. Hills has described the course as dramatic yet fair and playable for all abilities. Among its varied holes is the 425-yard par-four second, which bends around a cranberry bog. The property is also shared with horseback riders, who have the right of way on the cart paths.
