Oxford Hills Golf Club
About Oxford Hills Golf Club
Oxford Hills Golf Club traces its origins to John Hubbard, who, while laying out the routing for his planned course, realized the original property was too small and arranged to buy an additional forty acres next door. Construction began soon after, and the first nine holes were finished by 1965.
Hubbard pressed on to build the second nine, working on the land in the evenings after shifts at his full-time job. The completed course opened in 1970. It remained a family enterprise, with his son Robert Hubbard, who died in October 2019, and his daughter Nancy Kraft among the staff that grew to more than forty people. John Hubbard died in September 2007.
