Whiteford Valley Golf Club in Ottawa Lake spans 45 holes, made up of two 18-hole championship courses and a full-length nine-hole course. The club was established in 1967 by architect Harley Hodges and has been part of the local community for decades. The West Course, designed by R.E. Hodges, opened in 1969, and the Yellow Course, also by R.E. Hodges, followed in 1995.
The layouts are intended to suit a wide range of abilities, giving experienced golfers something to work with while remaining playable for newcomers. Wide fairways are paired with hazards placed to make players think about their position, and the greens are kept in maintained condition throughout the property.
