About Black Lake Golf Club
Black Lake Golf Club sits in Onaway, Michigan, on high wooded ground marked by evergreens and reflecting pools, alongside the Black Lake Conference Center.
The course lies about five miles south of Black Lake itself, a glacial lake with a largely white sandy bottom. Depths reaching roughly 50 feet give the water its dark appearance and its name. The lake holds walleye, perch and pike, and the surrounding area is known as the sturgeon capital of Michigan.
