About College Fields Golf Club
College Fields Golf Club is a public 18-hole course in Okemos, near Lansing. Eleven holes opened in the fall of 2005, with the full 18 completed in 2006. The layout was designed by David Savic, formerly of Old Course Design and later with Nicklaus Design, drawing on golden-age design principles, and features large rolling greens, prominent bunkering and shaped fairway surrounds.
Four sets of tees stretch from 5,036 to 6,623 yards, accommodating a range of skill levels. Practice areas include a driving range, a short-game area and a putting green.

The course is set among farmland, with wildlife such as wild turkeys and coyotes often seen on the property. It sits near I-96 and US-127, within a mile of Michigan State University.
