About Twin Lakes Golf Club

Twin Lakes Golf Club in Rochester Hills is a Jerry Matthews design with wide, sweeping fairways and large contoured greens. The links-influenced original eighteen crosses mildly undulating ground dotted with wetlands and water hazards, and winds through a 1,000-acre residential development, where homes line many fairways and stand behind several green complexes.

A third nine, the Woods Course, opened for public play in 2006 and has a more northern Michigan character: elevation changes, rolling fairways framed by mature trees, and marshland home to herons and other wildlife. No houses border this layout, which measures 3,414, 3,172, 3,029, 2,831 and 2,322 yards and includes several forced carries over marsh, manageable from the white and forward tees.

Practice facilities include two large putting greens, a grass range, and a short-game area with chipping ground and a bunker. The clubhouse has a pro shop, locker rooms with showers, a restaurant and lounge, and a landscaped patio overlooking a natural area.
