Oak Ridge Golf Club

Oak Ridge Golf Club dates to the 1920s and retains the character of an older, classic layout. Fairways are framed by mature oaks and pines, and both the fairways and greens roll continuously, so level lies and straight putts are rare.

The back nine includes several distinctive holes. The 14th is a par three played to an elevated green, followed by the 15th, known as the "Camel Back," where clearing the ridge leaves a clear line to another raised putting surface. The 16th tee sits at that same height, playing down to the green below. Dunes along the course's edge separate it from Lake Michigan and P.J. Hoffmaster State Park, and afternoon breezes off the lake are common.
