About Muskegon Country Club
Muskegon Country Club is set on rolling terrain, with fescue-lined fairways framing a layout that measures 6,697 yards from the back tees. The relatively short length keeps the course playable for the average golfer, while the approach shots and demanding greens provide a test for stronger players. In keeping with its architectural heritage, the design rewards well-executed shots and punishes poor ones, with its challenges presented openly rather than hidden.

The course was originally laid out by Thomas Bendelow in 1908. In 1920 it was redesigned and renumbered by architect Donald Ross. More recent years have brought further changes and renumbering, carried out with an emphasis on preserving the course's original character.
