Pohlcat Golf Course
About Pohlcat Golf Course
PohlCat is a championship-style layout in central Michigan, routed over and alongside the Chippewa River, which measures about 100 feet wide as it winds through the property. The course was designed by Mount Pleasant native and PGA Tour winner Dan Pohl, who shaped a demanding but fair test drawing on the tournament courses he played.
The par-72 design pairs northern Michigan scenery with a links-style character and has been open for play since 1992.
The practice area is among the more expansive in the region, with a driving range, a chipping green and two putting greens, laid out so golfers can rehearse the shots and putts the course itself asks for.
