About Watermark Country Club
Watermark Country Club sits in Cascade, close to Grand Rapids, Ada and the surrounding suburbs. The course opened in 1958 as Hickory Hills, designed by Ira Dustin and Lester "Hickory" Johnson. Mark DeVries extended the layout to the south and east in the mid-1980s, and after several name changes the club took its present identity. Raymond Hearn redesigned the course in 1997, and a further renovation in 2022 modernized the holes and improved playability.

Each nine has its own character, combining to form an 18-hole round with demanding tee shots, groomed fairways and undulating greens. The layout stretches from 6,827 yards to 4,852 yards, with multiple tee sets for a range of abilities, and the walkable routing suits golfers who prefer to carry or push.
A practice facility with both long-game and short-game areas is available to members and guests.
