American Dunes Golf Club
About American Dunes Golf Club
American Dunes Golf Club sits near the eastern shore of Lake Michigan in Grand Haven, Michigan, on the site of the former Grand Haven Golf Club. The older course was redesigned and rebuilt, with the layout routed through the area's deep sandy terrain. The redesign was carried out by Jack Nicklaus.
The club was established as a tribute to American service members, and it supports Folds of Honor, an organization that funds scholarships for the families of fallen and disabled military personnel. American Dunes is associated with the founding of that organization and continues to raise money and awareness for it, having contributed more than $3.5 million over its first four years.
