About Hampshire Country Club
Hampshire Country Club in Dowagiac offers two 18-hole courses. The original layout, Hampshire, was designed by architect Edward Lawrence Packard of La Grange, Illinois, and built in 1961, with greens constructed by Robert E. Dustin, a pro and greens superintendent. It runs over gently rolling terrain, pairing an open front nine with a wooded back nine in a classic, challenging style.
The second 18, Dogwood, was designed by Duane Dammeyer of Indianapolis, Indiana, and opened in 1995. Its mostly wooded, rolling ground creates scenic views and rewards shot-making.
