Pinecroft Golf Course
About Pinecroft Golf Course
The land that became Pinecroft was bought by the Stone family in the early 1900s and farmed for fruit and Christmas trees. In the late 1980s, Lee Stone recognized its potential for golf and, working with Jim Cole, Andy Norman and Craig Carlson, designed and built the course.
Pinecroft opened in 1991 and remains owned and run by the Stone family, with relatives working on the grounds crew and in the pro shop. The project's success later led Lee Stone and Jim Cole to build Champion Hill, a few miles away on another family Christmas tree farm, which opened in 2000.
