Set near Crystal Lake, this 18-hole course takes in scenic views and plenty of wildlife along the way.
The two nines play quite differently. The front nine is open and forgiving, with wide fairways over rolling ground that suit a range of abilities. It opened for play in 1970 to a design by Michigan architect Bruce Matthews, and routes through a rolling meadow scattered with native cherry and apple trees, stretching to nearly 3,500 yards from the blue tees.
The back nine is tighter and more winding, bringing water hazards and well-placed bunkering into play for stronger players looking for a sterner test.
