About The Hills of Lenawee Golf Club and Banquet Center
Founded in 1919 by its members as Lenawee Country Club, the course began with an 18-hole plan drawn up by Ernest Way. Only the first nine were built at the outset, with members pitching in to maintain the ground themselves; the second nine was finished in 1926 and the complete layout opened on Memorial Day in 1927.
The club carried on through the Great Depression and the lean years of World War II. The original farmhouse that served as a clubhouse was replaced by the present building in 1949, and in 1950 the club hosted the Michigan Open, won by Walter Burkemo. New ownership arrived in 2019, along with the current name.

The course covers roughly 129 acres of gently rolling land in Adrian, playing to a par of 72 over tree-lined fairways and undulating greens suited to a range of abilities. A banquet center operates alongside the golf course.
