Spring Meadows Golf Club

Spring Meadows Golf Club occupies land in Gray that was once the Pollard family dairy farm. In early 1998, brothers Gary, David, Jeff, and Brad Pollard met with their father, James, to discuss converting the property into an 18-hole golf course. The project grew out of repeated suggestions from golf course shaper Fred Stone, a local figure who had proposed building a course on the farm.

The brothers hired Stone as shaper, and he introduced them to golf architect Bradley Booth, who produced the design. Superintendent Steve Hoisington oversaw construction and went on to maintain the course for more than 15 years. Stone translated Booth's plans into finished ground, adding his own touches while remaining faithful to the architect's intent.
