About Mere Creek Golf Course
Mere Creek Golf Club occupies part of Brunswick Landing, the former Naval Air Station Brunswick, a short drive south of Bowdoin College. The nine-hole course dates to 1958 and served only military personnel, veterans and their guests until 1991. The surrounding base has since been redeveloped, with new businesses and the Brunswick Executive Airport handling civilian traffic.
The nine-hole layout is known locally for being approachable and playable, drawing golfers from the surrounding area. Facilities include a clubhouse with a pro shop, a driving range and a putting green.
The course is open to the public, and memberships are also available.
