Maple Run Golf

Set in the scenic Catoctin Mountain region, Maple Run has been in play for more than three decades. The course was purchased in 2023 by Thurmont resident Jeff Barber, who continues to operate it for local and visiting golfers.

Located near Camp David, the course drew notable visitors over the years, including President Bill Clinton during his time in office, along with guests such as Steven Spielberg and Chevy Chase.

In 2004, Maple Run served as a filming location for the television series The West Wing, with cast members including Martin Sheen and Richard Schiff appearing on its greens.
