About Links At Lighthouse Sound
Opened in 2000, The Links at Lighthouse Sound sits along the tidal marshes of Assawoman Bay in Bishopville. The layout is split between bay-side holes and marsh-side holes, connected by a cart bridge of nearly 1,500 feet — the longest of its kind in the United States.
The course includes consecutive holes that share a single double green, a feature unique in America: the par-five 2nd at 508 yards and the par-three 3rd at 190 yards both finish on a 16,000-square-foot putting surface bordered by tidal marsh.

The signature hole is the par-three 5th, which carries directly over the marsh to a green ringed by water on three sides. It can be set from 89 to 218 yards and looks out toward the Ocean City skyline.
