Eagle's Landing Golf Course

Eagle's Landing Golf Course in Berlin, Maryland, plays through a mix of coastal ecosystems, with salt marshes bordering Sinepuxent Bay and Assateague Island, stands of native pine and hardwood forest, freshwater wetlands and ponds, and stretches of native and naturalized grassland. A tidal pool set between the tenth and eighteenth holes is among the course's notable features.

Environmental care is built into the course's management. Practices include reduced chemical use, natural pest management, buffer strips around wetlands to limit runoff, and recirculation of irrigation water. The maintenance staff has also installed nest boxes across the property, providing habitat for bluebirds, mallards, purple martins, sparrow hawks and other birds.
