About Country Club of Wilbraham
The Country Club of Wilbraham opened in 1927 as a nine-hole course laid out by Willie Ogg, a professional golfer and club designer from Carnoustie, Scotland. The layout remained largely unchanged until the late 1980s, when Geoffrey Cornish reworked it; his fast, undulating greens and strategic bunkering still characterize the front nine.
A back nine designed by Rowland Armacost opened for play in the spring of 2002, routing through rolling, wooded terrain before returning to the clubhouse.
Set in a suburban New England landscape, the club is semi-private and also open to residents of Wilbraham.
