About Ledges Golf Club
Ledges Golf Club is a municipally owned course in South Hadley, Massachusetts. In March 2005 the town brought in International Golf Maintenance of Lakeland, Florida, to manage course upkeep, with superintendent and general manager Mike Fontaine leading efforts to address long-standing conditioning issues; noticeable improvement followed within that first season.
A driving range was added in 2007, and a new clubhouse opened for the 2008 season, bringing a full bar and a broad menu to the property.
The course also participates in Audubon International's Cooperative Sanctuary Program, which reduces reliance on pesticides and fertilizers and has supported wildlife across the grounds.
