Merrimack Valley Golf Club
About Merrimack Valley Golf Club
Merrimack Valley Golf Club has been part of Methuen since 1906, making it one of the area's longest-standing golf properties. Its modern chapter began in 1971, when George T. Kattar and his wife Phyllis purchased the course, which was well known locally but had fallen into disrepair and needed sustained care and investment.
Under the Kattars' ownership, the layout was gradually reworked, culminating in a 2008 renovation that brought structural, drainage and aesthetic changes to the grounds. The course operates today as a public facility.
