Mount Hood Golf Course
About Mount Hood Golf Course
Mount Hood Golf Course opened in 1936 and has long been a fixture of the Melrose community. The historic 18-hole public course lies within 300 acres of wooded parkland north of Boston, giving the layout a secluded, scenic character. Slayton Tower, the property's landmark, stands above the course and takes in a view of the Boston skyline.
The Mount Hood Memorial Park & Golf Course is owned by the City of Melrose and managed by Sagamore Golf, Inc., a family-run company in operation since 1929 and now in its fourth generation. Sagamore also operates other public golf properties north of Boston.
