Northampton Country Club
About Northampton Country Club
Northampton Country Club has been part of the golf landscape of western Massachusetts since 1898, when it was founded through a collaboration between Smith College students and faculty and local community leaders. More than a century on, it remains a club serving both members and visiting players.
The nine-hole layout plays 6,156 yards to a par of 70. Its best-known test is the 4th, a sharp dogleg right that calls for a tee shot of roughly 200 yards from the back markers before opening to a green set within a condominium complex. The course sits in the small village of Leeds, with the club's distinctive clubhouse forming the backdrop to the holes.
