Fresh Pond Golf Course
About Fresh Pond Golf Course
Fresh Pond Golf Course is a 9-hole public course set within a corner of Cambridge's Fresh Pond Reservation, a few miles from Boston. Its naturalized layout suits golfers of varying abilities, with clearly defined hazards, water in play on four holes, two par 5s that call for a full range of clubs, and gently contoured greens.
The course is named after Cambridge native Thomas P. "Tip" O'Neill, Jr., the former Massachusetts State Representative and Speaker of the U.S. House. It is owned and operated by the City of Cambridge and managed by Cambridge Recreation, a division of the Department of Human Service Programs.
