Country Club of Billerica
About Country Club of Billerica
The Country Club of Billerica occupies more than 120 acres of rolling land in Billerica, Massachusetts. The property was originally part of Mears Farm, held by the Ferren family and their forebears.
In the late 1960s, Francis Ferren and his sons — William, Daniel, Paul and Michael — set out to turn the farmland into a golf facility open to the public. The course and its grounds have been altered and enlarged in the decades since, with the stated aim of giving golfers a place to learn, practice and play the game.
