Carter Plantation Golf Course

Carter Plantation marks the first signature design by PGA champion and Louisiana native David Toms. The 18-hole, par-72 layout stretches beyond 7,000 yards and threads through three distinct Louisiana landscapes: live oak flats, cypress wetlands and upland pine forest.

Each nine holds two par 3s, five par 4s and two par 5s, with a course rating of 73.9 and a slope of 133 from the championship tees. Eighty-six bunkers are placed strategically throughout, and water comes into play on eleven holes. Greens are planted with Tifeagle and the rolling fairways with Tifsport, and every hole offers four or five sets of tees. Native wildlife habitats have been preserved, with indigenous grasses and plants worked into the landscaping.
