The Island Golf Course occupies 160 acres in Plaquemine, with Tif-Eagle turf throughout and nine man-made lakes that come into play on 17 of the 18 holes. From the back tees the layout measures 7,010 yards, while additional tee placements accommodate average, senior and women golfers.
The front nine routes clockwise and the back nine counterclockwise, with the clubhouse positioned to overlook both the 9th and 18th greens.
