About Oakbourne Country Club
Oakbourne Country Club is a private, member-owned family club in Lafayette, founded in 1955 and among the older clubs of its kind in the area. Alongside golf, the property includes a clubhouse, swimming pool, tennis and pickleball courts, and a full food and beverage operation, with activities and events held for members throughout the year.
The 18-hole course plays to a par of 72 at 6,898 yards, with fairways framed by mature oaks and water hazards in play across the layout. It was originally designed by Dick Wilson and redesigned in 1985 by Joe Finger and Ken Dye. Oakbourne was the home course of brothers Jay and Lionel Hebert, both PGA Championship winners and Ryder Cup players, and the club's Hebert Room displays memorabilia dedicated to them and their families.

The tennis facility has 12 lighted Rubico courts, one lighted hard court and four lighted pickleball courts, plus a pro shop and a deck overlooking the courts and the Vermilion River.
