Olde Oaks is a public championship golf facility in Haughton, in northwest Louisiana. The 27-hole layout was designed in close collaboration with Hal Sutton, the PGA Ryder Cup captain, and marked his first signature design. The holes wind across roughly 340 acres of hilly countryside, with five sets of tees and wide fairways intended to suit a broad range of skill levels. The natural setting is home to a variety of native wildlife.
Practice facilities include a driving range, and lessons are available from the club's golf professionals. The clubhouse holds a pro shop stocked with golf equipment as well as a grill and restaurant serving players before or after a round. The club sits near the area's casinos.
