Panther Creek Golf Club opened to the public in 1973 as a nine-hole short course, built with Bermuda grass fairways and bent grass greens. A second nine was added in 2000, bringing the layout to 18 holes.
The course features wide fairways and elevated greens, with white sand bunkers throughout and water in play on six holes. The newer nine adds further bunkering along with mounding shaped into the fairways, and the rolling terrain opens up wide views across the property.
Surrounded by wildlife habitat, the course regularly sees deer, wild turkey, ducks and geese moving across the fairways. Recent additions include electric golf carts and a new clubhouse.
