About Somerset Country Club
Somerset Country Club is a semi-private club on North Main Street in Somerset, Kentucky. The course dates to 1923 and was expanded to 18 holes in 1993, with a number of the original holes still in play.
The layout runs through rolling countryside of wooded views, ponds and streams, with Bluemuda fairways and bentgrass greens. Playing to a par of 70 and measuring 5,727 yards from the blue tees, it features frequent uphill and downhill shots and is regarded as a shot maker's test suited to both newer and experienced golfers.
