Keeping the ball in play is at a premium across the layout. Tree trouble, thick rough and bunkering guard many of the holes, and the first green is split into two distinct tiers by a severe slope, making pin position a key consideration on the approach.
The second hole bends gently right and is even more tightly framed by trees. A water tower beside the hole — nicknamed the "White Giant" — acts as an unusual vertical obstacle for anyone working the ball right to left, with a large, lightly guarded green waiting at the end of a downhill approach.
