Sleepy Hollow Golf Course traces its beginnings to a 1966 conversation among a group of men frustrated by crowded city courses and interested in bringing golf to Oldham County. Architect Harold England was engaged to design and build the nine-hole layout in 1967, and the course opened in the spring of 1968.
The property sits amid horse paddocks and farmland, with rolling terrain and tree-lined fairways shaping play. Each hole presents a demanding green, and water comes into play on three of them. From the back tees the course measures more than 3,206 yards with a rating of 63.0. Tee times are not required.
