About Greenbrier Golf & Country Club
Greenbrier Golf and Country Club is a private golf and country club in Lexington, founded in 1971 by William Morris Hart Sr. together with Watts & Call, Inc. It was conceived as an uncrowded, family-oriented club, and that founding intent has guided it since. The club remains in family hands today, owned and operated by Hart's sons, William M. Hart Jr. and Larry Hart.
Beyond golf, the property includes a swimming complex renovated in 2011 with a junior-Olympic-size pool and a separate toddler pool, set on an expansive pool deck. Members also have access to a 19-acre fishing lake reserved for their use.
