About Sunflower Hills Golf Course
Sunflower Hills opened in May 1977 as an 18-hole championship layout designed by architect Roger Packard. Playing to more than 7,000 yards from the championship tees, it offers five sets of tees along with large rolling greens, zoysia fairways, and a number of bunkers and water hazards, making it playable for a range of skill levels.
Practice facilities include a driving range with thirty hitting stations with marked targets and distances, and an unusually large putting green that allows players to work on putts of varying difficulty. Chipping and pitching greens and a practice bunker are also available for short-game work, and three teaching professionals are on staff for instruction.

The course sits adjacent to the Kansas Speedway and Village West in Bonner Springs, a short drive from downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
