About South Bend Country Club
South Bend Country Club, a private club established in 1916, sits about 15 minutes from downtown South Bend. Its 18-hole course was laid out by Chicago-based architect George O'Neil.
The property adjoins the Chain O'Lakes, and the setting includes natural lakes, marshland and willow trees, which shape both the golf and the club's other gatherings.
The course hosts an annual U.S. Open qualifying event. Beyond golf, the club offers dining and facilities for events and family activities.
