Angel Hill Golf Course spans two counties, an unusual arrangement in which the 1st hole and holes 9 through 18 sit in Clinton County while holes 2 through 8 lie on the far side of Wildcat Creek in Carroll County. A steel county bridge links the two halves and has become part of the layout itself.
Several smaller bridges carry play over the stream that winds through the property. Among them is a small covered bridge on the 15th hole, connecting the tee box to the fairway, which serves as one of the course's signature features.
Also near the 15th tee is a small family cemetery dating to the turn of the century, a remnant of the farm that once occupied this part of the land.
