About Tippecanoe Country Club
Tippecanoe Country Club sits on the shore of Lake Shafer in Monticello, offering an 18-hole, par-72 layout measuring 6,870 yards, with several holes playing alongside the water and the lake forming a backdrop throughout the round.
The original nine holes date to 1920 and were designed by Roy Robertson, before the area's lakes and dams were built. Following a series of changes and expansions, Pete Dye took on the property in 1963 in one of his earliest projects, routing the back nine and reworking the existing holes with new tees and plantings to create the 18-hole course in play today.

The club is semi-private and open to public play. Facilities include a stocked pro shop and the 19th Hole Bar and Grill, which looks out over the course and Lake Shafer.
