About Walnut Creek Golf Courses
Walnut Creek Golf Courses in Marion offers two 18-hole layouts. The original Walnut Creek course opened in July 1970, and the Club Run course was completed in 1998.
Both designs make use of the property's hills, woodlands and water, placing an emphasis on strategy rather than length. Club Run in particular is laid out as a shot-maker's course, short in yardage but demanding in its angles and slope. Each course offers a wide range of teeing areas, allowing golfers of varying ability to play at a suitable length. The two layouts follow the natural contours of the land rather than heavily reshaped terrain.
