Prestwick is an 18-hole regulation golf course in Avon, Indiana. Designed by Robert Simmons, it opened in 1974 and measures 6,885 yards from the back tees at a par of 72, with a course rating of 73.7 and a slope of 127. Four sets of tees give playing lengths from roughly 5,800 to 6,875 yards.
The course is public and open seven days a week, with seasonal passes available. It has a long tournament background, having hosted the Indiana Men's State Open, the Indiana Women's State Open, the Indianapolis Open, the Indiana State Amateur, the Indiana Match Play Championship and the IHSAA state championships for boys and girls, and has served as a proving ground for many of the state's professional and amateur players.
Prestwick is now under new local ownership, which plans to keep the course open to the public and to concentrate improvement work on the putting surfaces.
