Vernon Hills Golf Course

Vernon Hills Golf Course is a nine-hole layout set on rolling terrain, with narrow fairways and small greens that place a premium on accuracy. A creek winds through the property and comes into play on seven of the holes, adding a consistent hazard across the round.

Architect Dick Nugent redesigned the course, and a new clubhouse opened in 1996. The golf shop carries apparel, accessories and equipment including balls, gloves, shoes and clubs, with special orders and club fitting available.
