The Rail Golf Course
About The Rail Golf Course
Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., The Rail Golf Course in Springfield was built on a 240-acre site that was formerly a dairy farm. The layout features manicured fairways and greens, five lakes and 82 sand bunkers spread across the property.
The course hosted the State Farm Rail Classic from 1976 through 2006.
Instruction is available from PGA-certified instructors, including private and group lessons as well as clinics and camps. The Rail also accommodates golf outings and corporate events, with staff handling arrangements.
