The Oaks Golf Course
About The Oaks Golf Course
The Oaks Golf Course dates to 1926, making it one of the earliest courses built in the Springfield, Illinois area. Decades of growth have given the property a mature character, with rolling terrain, tree-lined fairways and views over Sugar Creek during a round.
The 18-hole layout is set up for a range of skill levels. The course changed hands recently, and renovation work to both the clubhouse and the course is underway. The same family owns Meadowview Golf Course in Mattoon and Timberlake Golf Course in Sullivan, while Lakeshore Golf Course in Taylorville is run by the same management group.
