Kankakee Elks Country Club
About Kankakee Elks Country Club
Kankakee Elks Country Club dates to 1927, when Golden Age architects William B. Langford and Theodore Moreau routed the course along the banks of the Kankakee River. The pair carved the holes out of dense woodland, finishing each with a small, rolling green complex.
Measuring about 6,430 yards, the layout relies on its putting surfaces rather than hazards for its defense: the greens are fast and undulating, while only a few bunkers and a single water hazard come into play.
Practice facilities include a grass range tee, a short-game green with a bunker, and a large putting green. The club also hosts corporate and social outings and other special events.
